Is there any other option?

I loved google talk, and used it to stay connected with family/friends while at work.  Some of us aren't able to install or download stuff to our work computers, for security reasons. I can't use hangouts because my work computer does not support it. Is there any other option for those of us who can't use hangouts?

Hey there,

There is no way to revert to the old Google Chat.  It has been retired unfortunately.  I would recommend asking your network admins to see about allowing Google Hangouts, or you can use it on mobile on your cellular connection
