Scheduled Hangouts Message

Hello,

I have a LG V20 and the only messaging option is Google Hangouts. I'm really missing the function to schedule messages  for a later time/date. Are there   any plans to add this option at a later date?

Hey there,

This feature is not in Hangouts - you can definitely leave feedback to request features.  I would personally suggest looking through the Play Store for SMS alternatives.  There are quite a few and I am sure you can find one that has scheduling!

The issue is that most hangouts users don't bother paying for a text package on their phone, since hangouts does it for free. There is no app that can schedule a hangouts text, they only schedule normal texts thru the carrier, which isn't an option for many of us using hangouts.
